P 1 Application Research of Ultrasonic in Sizes Mixing

Abstract: Applied effect of ultrasonic technology on sizes mixing was discussed. Sizes were mixed through mechanical and cavitations function of ultrasonic. And its effect was contrasted with traditional sizes mixing method. Moreover it was analyzed on influences of ultrasonic on sizing viscosity, viscosity thermal stability, and gelatinization temperature and gelatinization time. The results show as below. Mixing effect of ultrasonic in certain frequency was obvious. Gelatinization temperature can be reduced and gelatinization time can be shortened. Viscosity thermal stability of size mixture can be increased remarkably. It was pointed out that application of ultrasonic technology in mixing sizes can strengthen size mixture compatibility, lessen cost of mixing sizes, and also improve on production efficiency.

P5 Property Analysis and Optimization Design of Functional Fabric from Silver-coating Fiber

Abstract: Design key points of functional fabric from silver-coating fiber were discussed in this paper. Nylon-based silver-coating fiber, cotton, polyester, nylon etc were selected. Ten kinds of fabrics were fabricated through systematically designing warp linear density, weft linear density, twist, twist direction, fiber component, fiber color, fabric warp density, fabric weft density and fabric texture etc. The ten kinds of fabric properties were tested such as antistatic, conductivity, electromagnetic shielding and UV resistance. The test results shows that antistatic, UV resistance and electromagnetic shielding of the ten kinds of fabrics are all good. It is pointed out that antistatic, UV resistance and electromagnetic shielding of nylon-based silver-coating fiber fabric are good. For UV resistance and electromagnetic shielding, the property of plied fabric is better than that of single yarn fabric, the property of thin fabrics are better than that of thick fabrics, the property of deep color are better than that of light color fabric.

P9 Property Research of Regenerated Silk Protein Fiber

Abstract: Properties of regenerated silk protein fiber were researched. Properties of silk and viscose were tested and compared. The result shows that physical property, thermal property and UV resistance of regenerated silk protein fiber are between that of silk and viscose. Infrared spectra of regenerated silk protein fiber are similar to that of the viscose. It is considered that dyeing property of direct dyes to regenerated silk protein fiber is better; the fiber has resistance to alkali not acid.

Abstract: Production Process of anti-bacterial & anti-radiation fabric from bamboo silver fiber was discussed. According to characteristics of bamboo silver fiber and fabric texture specifications, yarn quality can reach better level by pretreating bamboo silver fiber, adopting suitable processing configuration and technology measures such as lighter weight per unit, slower speed and larger twist et al. Sizing instruction and processing were optimized, the dry lease quality was improved, brittle broken ends were reduced, better yarn soakage & coverage effect can be reached. Processing of earlier shed time and higher back rest were adopted, pressure and shed time were adjusted rationally, then the filling can be inserted smoothly, the broken selvage & temple defects can be resolved better, the weaving efficiency and fabric style can be improved. Finally bamboo silver fiber cotton blended anti-bacterial & anti-radiation functional series fabric can be developed successfully; product development requirements can be reached.

P 18 Experiences of Spinning Silver-plated Fiber Shengma/Cotton Blended Fabric

Abstract: Reasonable processing parameters and technological points in producing silver-plated fiber Shengma/cotton blended fabric were summarized. Sliver blend after pre-blend of silver-plated fiber and Shengma fiber was adopted. Select Saco-Lowell graphic sliver tester to control sliver quality and adjust processing parameters in cleaning process to reduce the injury of Shengma fiber and the loss of silver-plated fiber. Sizing tension and qualities were controlled and weaving processing parameters were optimized. All technical indexes of silver-plated fiber shengma/cotton blended fabric can meet the processing design requirements.

P 22 Design and Production of Thin Jacquard Denim

Abstract: Technologic gist of design and production on thin jacquard denim were summarized. Combed pure cotton ply and lustrous nylon filament was selected as warp yarn, polyester-spandex core-spun yarn was selected as weft yarn. Combined twill weave was selected as base, and color contrast between black, dark blue and lustrous nylon filament was used to produce bright leopard bi-color three-dimensional effect. The practices show that thin jacquard denim can be developed successfully, and the loom efficiency can be ensured at 96%, through using biaxial jauquard loom, controlling warp tension, checking harness cord abrasion, strengthening operation training, optimizing selvage weave, adjusting heald frame height, and so on.
